Born to be Yummy

September 18th, 2011

Born To Be Yummy was founded by a mum of two and a published children’s nutrition expert, Clare Panchoo. Clare set about developing the recipes after struggling to find healthy, natural and yummy snacks for her children as they grew out of the Baby aisle offerings. Born To Be Yummy began as a kitchen table business, with Clare baking all the products from her own kitchen and selling to local cafe’s, soft play centres and delis.

They now have an artisan bakery in the Cotswolds who lovingly hand bake their cakes to Clare’s recipe.

New Healthy Seed Bars

July 15th, 2011

SeedStacked aims to bring health packed seeds back into your everyday diet, incorporating them into tasty products and treats we all like to eat! Wotton Farm Shop are pleased to be stocking The SeedStacked Flapjack, in original, yogurt and carob topped flavours.

Chris Thompson, the founder of SeedStacked,  had no plans to develop a healthy, tasty and 100% natural snack bar when he was travelling the world as a professional wrestler, “Chris Lightning”. Yet a four stone weight loss and a shock diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease, changed all that.

My early wrestling daysA new found need to eat natural food led him to discover the power of seeds. My early experiments in the kitchen

Originally Chris only made them along with other Seed Stacked creations for himself and friends, but their popularity grew. So when the chance came to enter a ‘Dragons Den’ style competition with Peter Jones on the panel, Chris took it – and won! Chris sourced a factory and the bars went into production and on sale at stores across the country. Exactly the same, 100% natural product, but now Chris was able to take the message about the power of seeds to the whole nation! Thankfully today Chris’ Crohn’s Disease is in remission and he is happy, healthy and back in training.

Ideal for runners and cyclists to gym goers looking for an energy boost or after workout recuperation, they are great for lunchbox fillers and perfect for an energy packed breakfast.
